BASE METAL WRAP: Copper fell to a 15-week low and nickel slid a fifth day as the strongest U.S. dollar in four years stifled demand for industrial metals priced in the currency.

ENERGY WRAP: Crude futures took a beating on Tuesday, the last day of the third quarter, as investors ditched the commodity on concerns that the global market is awash in crude while demand remains soft.

PRECIOUS METAL WRAP: Gold futures edged lower on Tuesday and threatened to post their first quarterly this year after soft European inflation data sparked demand for the U.S. dollar, which trades inversely with the yellow metal.

INDIAN EQUITY BENCHMARKS rebounded in late trades to snap a three-day losing streak after global rating agency Standard & Poor's upgraded India's credit outlook to 'stable' from 'negative'. The impact of the rating upgrade was the most on the Indian rupee which surged to Rs 61.11 to the US dollar against the previous close of Rs 61.34.
