The market is still flat as the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has maintained status

The Sensex is up 31.16 points at 26176.83 and the Nifty up 22.25 points at 7957.50. About 1399 shares have advanced, 839 shares declined, and 98 shares are unchanged.

Tata Steel, Vedanta, Dr Reddy's Labs, Wipro and Coal India are top gainers while Bharti, Axis Bank, Infosys, Hero and Tata are losers in the Sensex.

The RBI has kept benchmark repo rate unchanged at 6.75 percent, after lowering it by 50 basis points, or front-loading policy action in September. The RBI has cut repo rate four times (125 basis points) since January 2015. Current CRR and SLR stand at 4 percent and 21.5 percent respectively.

DAILY COMMODITY MARKET STRATEGY- 30 Nov 2015

BULLION

Gold February 2016 future is witnessing selling pressure, and is down 1.3 percent to $ 1,056.20.Silver December future is up 0.2 percent at 14.030.Platinum January future has shed around a percent at $ 830.30.

ENERGY

Crude Oil January future is quoted at $ 41.80 - up 0.2 percent.Brent Oil January future is down 0.2 percent at $ 44.81.Natural Gas January future has declined more than half a percent at $ 2.212.

Crude Oil December futures are at Rs 2780 while resistance for Crude Oil is at Rs 2880.

BASE METAL

Copper March future has dropped almost a percent at $ 2.047.Copper ended the day at Rs 310.80 per kg on 27 November 2015 against 313.55 per kg on 26 November 2015.

The high for Copper February was at Rs 314.75 per kg, and a low of Rs 309.70 per kg was tested.

Equity benchmarks remained in consolidation mode.

The Sensex rose 12.73 points to 26140.93 and the Nifty declined 2.80 points to 7939.90.

About 1412 shares have advanced, 716 shares declined, and 159 shares are unchanged on the BSE.

Foreign investors pulled out more than USD 1.5 billion from the country's capital markets this month due to lacklustre quarterly earnings and concerns over a possible rate hike by the US Federal Reserve.

Equity benchmarks continued to consolidate in morning trade after rallying for previous two consecutive sessions. The broader markets outperformed benchmarks with the BSE Midcap and Smallcap indices 0.3 percent and 0.6 percent, respectively.

DAILY COMMODITY MARKET STRATEGY- 27 Nov 2015

BULLION

Silver December future has declined 0.4 percent at $ 14.100.Platinum January and Gold December futures are down 0.2-0.3 percent each at $ 851.30 and $ 1,067, respectively.

Gold gained in the intraday trades ending Thursday. The session saw Gold closing at Rs 25,281 per 10 grams on 26 November 2015 against Rs 25,222 on 25 November 2015.Gold price tested a high of Rs 25,337 per 10 grams on 26 November 2015 and a low of Rs 25,250 per 10 grams.

ENERGY

Crude Oil January future slipped 1.4 percent to $ 42.46.Brent Oil January future shed 0.5 percent at $ 45.38.Natural Gas January future has dropped around a percent at $ 2.239.

Prices of Crude Oil were sideways session ending Thursday. On MCX far month contract ended at Rs 2,851 per barrel on 26 November 2015 against Rs 2,860 per barrel on 25 November 2015.

BASE METAL

Copper March future is marginally up at $ 2.092.The high for Copper was at Rs 311.05 per kg, and a low of Rs 300.45 per kg was tested.

INDIAN EQUITY MARKET OUTLOOK-27 Nov 2015

INDIAN BENCHMARKS The Indian equity benchmarks may open marginally in the red on Friday amidst weakness in fellow Asian equities as a worsening slowdown in China sours the appetite for risky assets. SGX Nifty is trading 14.00 points lower.

Global Markets:

Asian shares fell and the dollar held near an 8-1/2-month peak on Friday, while the euro hovered around seven-month lows on expectations of additional stimulus from the European Central Bank next week.US financial markets were closed on Thursday for the Thanksgiving Day holiday.European shares hit three-month highs on Thursday, rising in thin trade as expectations grew for aggressive European Central Bank (ECB) action next week.

BULLION

Platinum January 2016 future has jumped over a percent in early morning deals at $ 852.90.Gold December future has gained 0.3 percent at $ 1,073.60.Silver December future has added 0.2 percent at $ 14.185.

ENERGY

Crude Oil January future is quoted at $ 43.27 - up 0.5 percent.Brent Oil January future is almost unchanged at $ 46.27.Natural Gas December future is down 0.2 percent at $ 2.288.

Copper March future is witnessing significant gain, and is up almost 3 percent to $ 14.190.

INDIAN EQUITY MARKET OUTLOOK- 26 Nov 2015

BULLION

Gold December future has gained 0.3 percent at $ 1,070.10.Platinum January 2016 future has declined 0.5 percent at $ 841.70.Silver December future is slightly up at $ 14.040.

ENERGY

Crude Oil January future has advanced 0.5 percent at $ 41.96.Brent Oil January future is marginally up at $ 45.03.Natural Gas December has shed more than half a percent at $ 2.314.

BASE METAL

INDIAN EQUITY MARKET OUTLOOK- 24 Nov 2015

INDIAN BENCHMARKS are tipped to extend Monday’s losses and open lower today tracking a bearish global trend while a continued exodus of foreign investors amid concerns that the BJP’s loss in Bihar may crimp its ability to push through key reforms such as GST to bolster Asia’s third biggest economy, may also sour sentiment at Dalal Street.

SGX Nifty is trading 32.50 points lower.

Volatility may remain high at the domestic bourses ahead of the expiry of the November Futures & Options ( F&O) contracts on Thursday, while caution ahead of the start of the Winter Session of Parliament from Thursday may also weigh on the Sensex. Shares of PSU banks may see some positive trade after Finance Minister Arun Jaitley vowed measures to relieve stress of state-run lenders that are battling high NPAs. BULLION

Gold December future has declined over 0.5 percent in early trade at $ 1,060.90.Silver December delivery has shed almost a percent at $ 13.985.Platinum January 2016 contract has also moved down 0.5 percent at $ 850.90.

ENERGY

Crude Oil January and Natural Gas December series are witnessing heavy losses, and are down almost 2 percent each to $ 41.11 and $ 2.247, respectively.Brent Oil January future is quoted at $ 44.17 - up 0.6 percent.

BASE METAL

Copper December delivery has tumbled almost 2 per cent at $ 2.021.

INDIAN EQUITY MARKET OUTLOOK-23 Nov 2015

INDIAN BENCHMARKS The key domestic equity benchmarks are likely to extend a two-day winning streak and open higher on Monday as investors pin their hopes on the green signal for key reforms such as the Goods & Services Tax (GST) in the Winter Session of Parliament which begins this Thursday.

SGX Nifty is trading 28 points higher.

Dalal Street may witness some volatility in the holiday-shortened week as traders roll over their positions amidst the November Futures & Options (F&O) expiry. Indian shares made modest gains on Friday but recorded their first weekly gain in four as consumer goods stocks rose after a panel recommended a 23.55% pay hike for current and former government employees. INDIAN BENCHMARKS Gap down opening seen for Sensex amid subdued global cues. INDIAN EQUITY MARKET OUTLOOK-18 Nov 2015

The market has opened on a flat note following lacklustre global cues Wednesday. The Sensex fell 10.44 points to 25854.03 and the Nifty declined 7.95 points to 7829.60.

Infosys fell again on margin warning, down nearly 2 percent. HDFC, TCS, Axis Bank, Hero Motocorp and ONGC were down over 0.4 percent.

ITC continued to be lead contributor to Sensex's gains, up 0.5 percent followed by Tata Motors, Lupin.

The Indian rupee has opened lower by 10 paise at 66.12 per dollar today against previous days's closing value of 66.02 a dollar.

INDIAN EQUITY MARKET OUTLOOK-17 Nov 2015

The market has extended rally in early trade Tuesday, taking positive cues from global peers. The 30-share BSE Sensex climbed 109.17 points to 25869.27 and the 50-share NSE Nifty gained 30.95 points at 7837.55.

ICICI Bank, Vedanta, SBI, L&T, BHEL, Idea Cellular, Cairn India and Tata Power were early gainers, up around a percent each. Dr Reddy's Labs, Bharti Airtel, GAIL, Hero Motocorp, Infosys and HCL Technologies were losers.

The Indian rupee has opened with a marginal gains of 5 paise at 65.95 per dollar against previous close of 66.

Crude Oil December future is slightly down at $ 41.70.Brent Oil January future has declined 0.4 percent at $ 44.61.Natural Gas December future is down 0.15 percent at $ 2.338.

BASE METAL

Copper December future has slipped around 2 percent to $ 2.084.On Tuesday trading gains are expected to get resisted at Rs 311 and 312 per kg. Supports for Copper is at Rs 308 and Rs 305 per kg.

The high for Copper was at Rs 317.60 per kg, and a low of Rs 308.10 per kg was tested.

INDIAN EQUITY MARKET OUTLOOK- 6 Nov 2015

The market is still flat, as the Sensex is up 30.23 points or 0.1 percent at 26334.43. The Nifty is up 10.95 points or 0.1 percent at 7966.40. About 868 shares have advanced, 890 shares declined, and 87 shares are unchanged.

SBI, L&T, Infosys, TCS and HDFC are top gainers while Tata Steel, Vedanta, Tata Motors, GAIL and ICICI Bank are among losers.
