Biocon Q4 net up 140% YoY, sales up 15%
Biocon consolidated net profit for the March quarter jumped 140 percent year-on-year to Rs 113 crore, and revenues grew 15 percent to Rs 746 crore.
Strides Arcolab gains on US FDA nod for oral dosage facility
Strides Arcolab has rallied 5% after company announced that its Oral Dosage Forms manufacturing site (KRS Gardens) in Bangalore was recently inspected by the US FDA as part of GMP compliance audit and the facility continues to be approved.
Cairn India slides on disappointing guidance
Cairn India has dipped 5% after the company guided that the output for the current financial year would remain flat. The company has reported an 18% year on year rise in net profit at Rs 3,305 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2014 as crude oil production from its showpiece Rajasthan fields soared. The company had profit of Rs 2,564 crore in a year ago quarter.
Maruti Suzuki Q4 below estimates, net up 17.5% to Rs 800 cr
Maruti Suzuki reported net profit at Rs 800 crore in the quarter ended March 2014, up 17.5 percent (partly boosted by other income) compared to previous quarter.
