Gold August future is down 0.2 percent in early deals at $ 1,176.90.Silver September contract has declined 0.5 percent at $ 15.613.Platinum October delivery is almost unchanged at $ 1,080.80.
ENERGY
Crude Oil and Natural Gas August series have shed 0.5 percent each at $ 58.02 and $ 2.789, respectively.Brent Oil August expiry is now quoted at $ 61.79 - up 0.3 percent.
BASE METAL
Copper July contract is trading on a soft note at $ 2.632.
