Flat opening on D-Street; SGX Nifty up 11.50 pts;

Indian Indices:

Indian markets are likely to open lower on Tuesday, tracking bearish trend in Nifty futures on the Singapore Stock Exchange and weak trading across Asian markets

SGX Nifty trading 11.50 points higher @9869.50.On the earnings front, Amtek Auto, Bajaj Finance, Havells India, Mindtree and Sanofi India will announce their June quarter results today.

Yesterday (July 17, 2017) Key benchmark indices posted biggest loss in 2017 with Sensex crashed nearly 450 points in intraday dragged by index heavyweights ITC & to some extent Reliance. Sensex recoup some losses in end to close down by 364 points.

The dollar stayed on the defensive on Wednesday as investors wagered any further tightening in the United States would be slow at best, while optimism on China's economy underpinned Asian shares and commodities

Global Market:

Asian stocks were trading mixed as investors weighed dimming hopes of Trump’s health-care reform bill after two more Republican senators planned to oppose the bill.

All sectors in Europe ended the day in negative territory — many down by more than a percent — as markets lost conviction in President Donald Trump's major reform proposals.

Wall Street had ended Tuesday mixed after a heavy dose of corporate earnings, with the Dow dragged by Goldman Sachs but the Nasdaq reaching a record high led by Netflix

UltraTech to set 3.5 mn tonne plant in Madhya Pradesh for Rs 2,600 cr.
Jet Airways may lease out ATRs to TruJet.

Trend in FII flows: The FIIs were net buyers of Rs 317.44 the cash segment on Monday while the DIIs were net sellers of Rs -975.01 as per the provisional figures.
