Markets set to open higher; SGX Nifty up 22 pts

Indian Indices:

Indian benchmark indices are likely to open higher on Thursday, tracking firm cues from Nifty futures on the Singapore Stock Exchange and positive trend across global peers. Markets across Asia were trading higher after the Wall Street ended at record high in overnight trade.. SGX Nifty is trading at 10381 up 22 points indicating we might open on postive note.

The benchmark indices extended losses in last leg of trade to settle lower on Wednesday as Reliance Industries fell on oil price worries, while Bharti Airtel slumped after a key investor sought to exit.

Global Market:
Wall Street closed at a record high on Wednesday as videogame makers rallied and Apple's market value climbed above USD 900 billion.
Asia stocks hovered near a decade high on Thursday following another record breaking day on Wall Street, while the New Zealand dollar rallied as hawkish-sounding statements by the country's central bank boosted the recently battered currency

Bombay dying reported strong Q2 numbers, Income up 35% at 692.2 cr, PAT at 52.8 cr vs loss of 36.5 cr, Ebidta margin 24.3% Vs 4%.
Petronet LNG reported strong Q2 numbers, Income 7770.2 cr vs est 6532.4 cr, PAT 588.78 cr vs Est 463.2 cr, EBITDA 898.7 cr vs est 748.5 cr.
Pricol entered into a joint venture with Hong Kong based-Zorg industries for the manufacture and supply of parking assistance systems for the Indian mark.
Reliance Infrastructure set to bag Rs 1,000 crore order from Nuclear Power coporation of India.
GSFC reported weak numbers for this quarter, Income down 3% at 1540.3 cr, EBITDA down 50% at 97 cr, PAT down 37% at 79.2 cr.

Trend in FII flows: The FIIs were Net Value of Rs -3838.27   the cash segment on Wednesday while the DIIs were Net Value of Rs 3038.16 as per the provisional figures.
