Bulls dominate on D-Street; Nifty opens higher

Indian Indices:

Aurobindo Pharma is the top Nifty gainer and Bharti Infratel is the top Nifty loser in the morning hours on Wednesday. The Aurobindo Pharma is trading higher by 0.97% at Rs 600.1 per share while  Bharti Infratel is trading lower by 0.3% at Rs 364.75 per share.

Global Market:

Asian markets have edged higher on Wednesday. Japan’s Nikkei 225 has gained 68 points. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng has surged 136 points. The China’s Shanghai Composite has risen 7 points.

The US central bank left its benchmark interest rate unchanged at 0.75-1%. Bond prices came under pressure on caution ahead of the outcome of the US Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) meeting.

European shares rebound on Tuesday from the previous session's slight losses, edging to 21-month highs.

HDFC Bank raises Rs 8,000 crore in largest issue of perpetual debt funds.
InvITs may deleverage infrastructure companies by nearly Rs 13,000 crore.
RBI invokes prompt corrective action on IDBI Bank; Dena Bank may be next.

Trend in FII flows:The FIIs were net buyers of Rs -332.87 the cash segment on Tuesday while the DIIs were net sellers of Rs 16.92 as per the provisional figures.
