BULLION
Gold December and Silver September futures are trading on a soft note at $ 1,093.60 and $ 14.815, respectively.Platinum October future is also marginally in red at $ 962.35.
Gold future rates are quoted at Rs 24,925 - up Rs 30.The counter has seen trades of around 710-odd lots, and the open interest added almost 300-odd lots at 9,390 lots.
September Silver future prices are quoted at Rs 34,074 - up Rs 43. The shiny white metal has touched a high at Rs 34,099 and a low at Rs 33,957.
ENERGY
Crude Oil and Brent Oil September futures have shed 0.5 percent each at $ 43.64 and $ 49.01, respectively.Natural Gas September future has shed 0.3 percent at $ 2.784.
Crude Oil price in India has slipped 1.2 percent at Rs 2,790.The MCX counter has seen trades of around 5,476 lots and the open interest has moved higher by 1,917-odd lots to 27,504.
BASE METAL
Copper September future is trading flat at $ 2.327.
