Gold December future has added 0.2 percent at $ 1,161.50.Silver September contract has shed over 0.5 percent at $ 15.205.Platinum October delivery is marginally down at $ 1,018.50.
ENERGY
Crude Oil October expiry has plunged almost 3 percent to $ 39.30.Brent Oil October future has slipped 2 percent at $ 44.39.Natural Gas September contract has cracked 4.5 percent to $ 2.660.
BASE METAL
Copper September delivery is now quoted at $ 2.250 - down 2 percent.
